PRURide Six Day Hong Kong

How do I buy tickets to the PRURide Six Day Hong Kong Event?

You can buy tickets for the Six Day event via the ticket platform on the website. The link for this site can be found on the ticketing page.

What types of payment do you accept?

The ticketing platform accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal.

Do you offer discounts for kids and senior citizens?

Yes, we offer half price tickets on all days for kids under 12 years old and senior citizens above 65 years old.

Will I be able to choose my seats?

When purchasing your ticket, you will be able to choose which block your seat will be in, however you will not be able to choose the specific seat within that block. The system will automaticalaly assign the best seats available in that block. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, the seats assigned to you will be together.

How do I receive my ticket?

Your ticket will be sent to you via email once you have confirmed the purchase on Pelago. You will be able to print out the ticket or simply show the e-ticket on your phone when entering the Velodrome.

Can I bring in food and drink?

No food and drink from outside is allowed. There will be food and drink available to purchase inside the Velodrome.

Is there parking at the Velodrome?

There is no parking space available to the general public at the Velodrome.

Where can I see the live results of the races?

Live updates of the event will be streamed on the Six day website at www.sixday.com.

What time does it start?

On Friday and Saturday, doors will open at 5pm and the first event will kick off at 6pm. The night will end between 10.30pm and 11pm.

On Sunday, doors will open at 3pm with the first event kicking off at 4pm. The night will end between 8.30pm and 9pm.

Family Fun Ride

Will there be food and drink at the event?

There will be a range of food and drink stalls at the event in the festival area. There will also be refreshment stands throughout the course for a break.

When does the event finish?

The event will run from 9am-5pm and all participants will need to return their bikes to the drop off tent by 4.30pm.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

It is essential that you wear a helmet for the entirety of your cycle, they will be provided at registration on a first come first serve basis.

How long will it take?

It is a 1km circular course and you can cycle this course as many times as you like.

Do I need to pay to cycle?

No, all you have to do is simply register for the event once you arrive!

Do I need to sign a waiver form?

Yes, all participating cyclists will have to sign the waiver form before picking up your bike. Those who bring their own bikes will also need to sign the waiver form at registration.

*For those under 18 will need parental consent.

24 Hour Charity Challenge

Can I change on site?

Yes, shower and changing facilities at Kerry Hotel will be available for all participants throughout the event.

Can I bring my own refreshments?

Yes, all participants can bring their own refreshments related to their participation in the event.

Will the hotel provide breakfast, lunch or dinner?

The hotel will provide food for purchase at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vegetarian options will also be available

What do I need to wear?

Normal cycling attire or gym attire

Do I need cycling cleats?

No, the bikes will be fitted with pedals with cages so normal trainers will be fine

Can I ride more than 1 hour?

Yes, you can ride as many hours as you like in single or multiple sessions, however, all members of your team must ride for at least 1 hour in total. 

Can I meet the Six Day Riders?

Yes, the Six Day riders will be coming in and out of the venue at points throughout the 24 hours and will be at the ‘meet and greet’ session at the end of the 24-hour event in Dockyard

Can my friends and family watch me in the competition?

Yes, your friends and family can watch you in the Dockyard and also at home if they download the Zwift application and select your team name. Updates will also be posted with videos and photographs on the Six Day HK facebook and Instagram page.

Do we have to ride in a particular order? What if one of the team members is unwell or can’t make it to the event?

You do not have to ride in a particular order, so long as all team members ride for at least 1 hour. If you are unwell, we suggest you withdraw from the competion immeadiately and contact your Team Captain who will inform the organisers

When is the deadline to enter a team?

The deadline is 22 February to enter a team (or until sold out) however, we can add individuals on a case-by-case basis right up to the start of the event. Please contact the organisers for more details.
