The world’s best cyclists competing in a gladiatorial arena over three intense nights.
Prudential will be the title sponsor as the international cycling series Six Day extends its footprint into Asia for the first time, with the Hong Kong stopover joining established events in six other cities across three continents. PRURide Six Day Hong Kong will be the fifth race in the new seven-stop 2018/19 series which started in London last October and ends in Brisbane in April 2019.
PRURide Six Day Hong Kong will feature the world’s best male, female and junior riders who will descend on Hong Kong in March for an action-packed three-day event, set to include all the usual Six Day track racing formats which will be presented in a spectacular arena environment. The racing will include the Madison, time trials, team eliminations, scratch races and points race formats. With lights down and music turned up, the house DJ keeps the party atmosphere going throughout the racing, in a way not previously seen at Hong Kong’s velodrome.
Madison Sports Group have reinvented six-day cycling – a traditional form of track cycling first raced in 1878 – with cutting-edge, world class presentation and entertainment. The London-based sports promoter has revolutionised the 140-year old sport, and created the world’s first Six Day Series in 2016.
Riders from The Cycling Association of Hong Kong will participate alongside international Olympic gold medallists and household names; and with UCI ranking points, counting towards Olympic qualification, up for grabs, spectators can look forward to witnessing the world’s best compete in Hong Kong in a party atmosphere.
Lead by Olympic and world championship medallist Sarah Lee Wai Sze and Asian Games Champions Leung Chun-wing and Cheung King-lok, Hong Kong’s track cyclists have enjoyed notable success on the international stage in recent years. They will relish the opportunity to test themselves against the world’s elite.
Tickets will be released on the 22nd January 2019. Book your tickets here!
Our track centre hospitality offering takes you to the heart of the action with two premium options available; The Inner Circle and the Madison Bar. Click here to find out more.

PRURide Six Day Family Fun Ride is the perfect opportunity to spend the weekend with family and friends and reconnect with the joys of cycling. This event is aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle where people can spend the weekend outdoors in a safe and friendly environment and enjoy the freedom of an open venue.
Centred around the World Class Six Day Series event in the Velodrome, The Family Fun Ride will allow the community to interact with some of the world’s best professional cyclists throughout the weekend. As well as this, the public will be able to enjoy cycling a traffic-free route around the beautiful Velodrome park.
The course around the Park is a 1km circular route starting in front of the Velodrome. Participants are welcome to cycle as many laps as they like! This is a family friendly route for all capabilities with a wide path and a one way system to avoid any collisions.
Held on the open grass area in the middle of the park, the Festival Area will provide a carnival-like atmosphere with plenty of fun activations to take part in including:
The Strider Course – A mini velodrome track built for kids to test their cycling skills as they navigate through ramps and other obstacles!
The Virtual Cycling Experience – An exciting activity that will allow up to 4 people to race against one another on a virtual track!
There will be plenty of entertainment for the kids with a number of bouncy castles to play on. Carnival performers such as balloon artists and stilt walkers will roam around the park, while temporary tattoo artists and face-painters will be available as well!
As well as this, the Festival will have plenty of food and drinks on offer, and a stage to enjoy a rider’s Q&A sessions during the day.
Hire a bike
There will be plenty of bikes available to rent for all ages. These will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis, so it is recommended to bring your own bike if you own one! Once you arrive at the venue, visit the Registration Area to sign up for your own bike. You will also be able to park your own bike in this area if you wish to visit the Festival area before or after your ride.

The 24 Hour Charity Challenge is designed to be the largest of it’s kind charity challenge in Asia. Set up with one purpose in mind – to raise money for our charity partners. Pick your team and get those legs pumping.

With each team committed to raising funds for charity, spinners are given 24 hours on their bikes to gain as many distances and raise as much money as they can. This is a great opportunity to work with friends/colleagues and see what you can achieve through teamwork and resilience and see how hard work can bring joy to others in need.
The 24 Hour Challenge will be set in the Dockyard at the Kerry Hotel – one of Hong Kong’s newest and most exclusive hotels.
